Emily Kim Ae Sun Hunter is fed up. Now, she’s rising against the crude violence and hatred toward her and her fellow Asian-Americans.
Hunter, who has lived in Dover, Exeter and Rye, is planning a #StopAsianHate rally at Portsmouth’s Prescott Park next month in response to recent violence and killing of Asian-Americans.
Scheduled for Sunday, May 23, it’s the first time she has organized a demonstration. Even so, Hunter is no stranger to diversity, equity and inclusion work.
