■Ben Brown has been named chairman of the Chichester School Board with Heather Chiavaras as vice chairman for 2021-22. Heather Will be the communication liason with the board of selectmen. Bri Stone will be facility and grounds chairman.
■Leah Lacross, a senior at PA presented a picture of Chichester seniors to the Chichester School Board. The pictured seniors were captains of sports teams in the same season. Cody Montambeault and Ryan Casey football captains, Alex Chiavaras cross country captain, Leah Lacross and Rachel Clark field hockey and basketball captains, Lindsay Hawkins soccer captain and not pictured Kerra Valley cheering squad captain. These senior class members are great leaders and should be proud of their leadership.
■Chichester Town Library Down Under Bookstore is looking for donations of used books, DVD and puzzles. The bookstore is open on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for sales and donations.

■We are finally starting to bring back our events! This summer we are kicking the season off with an outdoor movie. We will be doing this showing at Webster Park on Friday, June 11th at dusk (this is typically around 8:15 to 8:30 p.m.). We recommend bringing a blanket or chairs to sit on, and keep in mind that groups should be socially distanced from one another. If you are uncomfortable with sitting outside, you will have the option of sitting in your car with all lights off and at the very back of the crowd. We will be showing the movie The Goonies, a classic movie that typically runs about two hours long. We will be selling concessions, but you are more than welcome to bring your own snacks!

■The Old Home weekend will have a parade with decorated bicycles. This year’s theme is Back Together Again. ■Lace up your sneakers and get ready to READ! The library has partnered with sixteen other locations around town to host their very first town-wide story walk.
■The StoryWalk project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library to enjoy reading and the outdoors and at the same time. A StoryWalk is a series of signs featuring sequential spreads from a children’s picture book and as you follow the map, you’re directed to the next page in the story.
■Our first walk starts at Jitters Cafe, 44 MainStreet, Pittsfield where you can grab a map and start the story. The story ends back at the library, 41 Main Street, where you can stop in for a free gift from No Worry Storage upon completing the StoryWalk.
