Cards for Kids and Coloring Books for Kids originated through the Resident Communication Committee’s  Lifer & Long-term incarceration Subcommittee of the Department of Correction. This year the residents collected over 400 hand-drawn cards and created over 200 hand-drawn coloring books for the children of Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth. The committee also made a Treasure Chest for the children so the staff at CHaD can hand out prizes when they play games with them. All materials were collected and donated by the residents of New Hampshire State Prison.
