Girls’ Basketball

Key players: Conant  – Emma Tenters (17 points), Teegan Kirby (9 points); Hopkinton – Sierra Stone (10 points), Hannah Pecce (5 points), Kally Murdough (defense)

Highlights: The two-time defending champion Orioles broke open a close game in the third quarter with 18 points in that frame, nine of them by Tenters.

Boys’ Basketball

Key players: Hopkinton – Brendan Elrick (18 points)

Highlights:  Elrick threw down a dunk with 1:42 left in regulation to tie the game 43-43 and the Hawks went on to defeat the 2019 champion Orioles in double overtime on the road. Conant had led the entire game until Elrick’s dunk and the two teams went in the first overtime tied 45-45.
