What: Steve Agius from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will present “The John Hay Wildlife Refuge and its Relationship with The John Hay Estate.” The John Hay Refuge was established in 1987 when the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service acquired the former summer estate of John Hay. Agius presents the history and natural characteristics of the Hay Refuge and its partnership with the John Hay Estate. Followed by an easy-to-moderate hike into the Refuge. Meets in the Gatehouse classroom.

What: The Community Players of Concord NH present “Not A Word,” an original comedy written and directed by noted Community Players Wallace J. Pineault … is a fitting celebration of the Players’ strength and depth as they celebrate their 95th year! Classic silent-movie comedy routines highlight this hilarious tale of Tinseltown in the Twenties before the movies learned to talk. Go ahead, laugh out loud, but don’t give away the surprise ending – Not a Word!
