Independence Day is approaching, and it’s time to celebrate in Concord once again! Join the fun at Memorial Field for concessions available starting at 6 p.m., a concert featuring the Nevers Band at 7:45, and fireworks display at dusk. Here’s a look at other celebrations in the area:
Andover – July 4 at dusk in Carr Field
Bradford – July 1 at dusk at 152 East Main Street; rain date July 2
Bristol – July 1 at dusk at Newfound Lake; rain date July 2
Canterbury – July 1, 6:00 p.m. after dusk at the Canterbury Country Store
Concord – July 4 at Memorial Field at dusk with concert at 7:45 p.m. and concessions starting at 6 p.m.
Gilmanton – July 1 at dusk at Crystal Lake Park; rain date July 8
Hillsborough – July 15, 10 p.m. as part of Hillsboro Summer Festival
Laconia – July 3 at 11:59 p.m. for Independence Day, also July 15, July 29, and Aug. 12 at 9:30 p.m.
Loudon – Aug. 12 at dusk as part of Old Home Day
Meredith – July 4, 9 p.m. (weather permitting). This year’s display will be a land launch in Meredith Bay
Newbury – July 8 at dusk at Newbury Harbor
New Boston – July 4, 9:30 p.m. at the Fairgrounds. Opening ceremonies start at 5 p.m., and include the firing of the Molly Stark cannon.
New London – July 8, 9:30 p.m. at Pleasant Lake
