Re-elect Mayor Champlin
I write today to encourage you to vote to re-elect Byron Champlin for mayor of Concord. I’ve known Byron for years — since his days as a Ward 4 councilor — and his commitment to doing what’s best for our great city has never wavered. I’ve worked with Byron on the White Park playground rebuild. I’ve also reached out to him to help someone who appeared to be living out of their car and could use support from a social services agency. Concord, like communities everywhere, faces challenges from developing affordable housing to helping the homeless and supporting local businesses. We need proven leadership that seeks to bring diverse groups and interests together to come up with workable solutions to these and other issues. Byron has a proven record of doing just that. I encourage you to vote for Byron on Nov. 4.
