Portsmouth, NH – Christina “Tina” Sconsa Boujoukos, age 90, left this life peacefully on New Year’s Eve Day. She had relocated to Portsmouth’s Edgewood Center, from her home in Concord, after a period of declining health. Tina was born May 19, 1935, in Concord, NH; the youngest child of Alexandra (Alice) and Charlie Tagis.
A graduate of Concord High School, Tina worked briefly for the State of NH, Parks and Recreation Department. She soon married her sweetheart Tony Notis and they had a daughter Nancy. Married briefly, they divorced in 1960. She then worked at NH Savings Bank as a teller and receptionist.
In 1971, she met and married Charlie Sconsa. She loved singing, dancing, going to Foxwoods, gambling in Las Vegas, going out to dinner, driving her Cadillac, wearing sparkly jewelry, nice clothing, and fine perfume. Having coffee with friends at Cafe Brioche on Summer Friday nights and Wallis Sands beach. Tina had a keen sense of humor and many would say, a feisty personality.
For over 50 years she was a choir member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, along with her sister Elaine. She was a generous steward of Holy Trinity and Portsmouth’s Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Plus, she was a giving donor to many non profits.
She became a widow with Charlie’s passing in 2003. She was a devoted wife, daughter and sister. In 2010, she was blessed with finding love again, and marrying James Boujoukos. They enjoyed 15 years together, prior to his passing in January of 2025.
She was predeceased by her parents. Alexandra (Alice) and Charlie Tagis. Beloved sister and brother-in-law Elaine and Spiro Anastos. Husband Charlie Sconsa, stepson Tony Sconsa. Husband James Boujoukos.
She leaves behind her daughter Nancy Notis and her husband Ron Currier and their loving children and grandchildren. Stepson Chris Boujoukos, his wife Julie and daughter Mary. Stepdaughter Andrea Boujoukos. Many extended family members and friends.
Special thanks to the compassionate caregivers of Edgewood’s South Wing. Truly angels on earth.
