Christian Urrutia for Congress
Both political parties are offering an abundance of candidates to fill the vacant seat in the 1st Congressional District. Various pundits are saying this is the most important election of our lifetime. This time, I tend to believe them.
Granite Staters struggle to pay for groceries, gas and electricity every day while Congress remains dormant. In this election, it is time to vote for you and your family. The Democrats offer a plethora of talented candidates. However, one candidate stands out above the rest. Christian Urrutia checks all the boxes for me. He has a great American story. A first generation American who earned a law degree and became a human rights lawyer. He chose to give back to his country by joining the Army at age 35. He continues to serve in the Army National Guard and has worked at the Pentagon. Just last week, I was very impressed he did an 18-mile ruck to highlight the 18 veterans who die of suicide each day. It’s why he’s so passionate about passing Medicare for All to ensure everyone has access to healthcare.
Christian recognizes our nation’s problems and has careful and well thought out solutions for lowering housing costs through a National Infrastructure Bank, making sure we tax billionaires fairly, have universal child care and raise the minimum wage to a livable wage. Urrutia is not a cookie cutter politician and is willing to challenge the status quo in DC.
