Beriont is the leader we deserve
Electing Carleigh Beriont to Congress isn’t just an opportunity to send the right leader to Washington. It’s the chance for New Hampshire voters to make a fresh statement about who we are and what kind of government truly represents us. The Sept. 8 primary is about the soul of Granite Staters. And Carleigh Beriont is a good soul.
I first met Carleigh when we began our careers as educators together over 15 years ago. Together, we learned that great teachers don’t just deliver content; they cultivate citizens. Today, Carleigh is vying for more than a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Like the great teacher she is, she’s also demonstrating how authentic a politician can and should be.
My “Live Free or Die” vote can’t be bought or bullied, which is why I won’t settle for the candidate with the most money, the loudest voice or the sharpest attack ads.
I’m voting for the leader I want my children to look up to. The leader I trust. The leader we deserve.
Earlier this month, my wife and I sang “9 to 5” at our very own Tiny Desk Concert for Carleigh, and a line from the immortal Dolly Parton resonated with me: “There’s a better life, and you think about it, don’t you?” I certainly think about it. And I am hopeful and excited knowing this:
A vote for Carleigh is a vote for a better leader and a better life.
