Question for Kelly Ayotte
If I could ask Governor Ayotte one question, it would be this.
In 2016 you said, “I wanted to be able to support my party’s nominee, chosen by the people, because I feel strongly that we need a change in direction for our country. However, I’m a mom and an American first, and I cannot and will not support a candidate for president who brags about degrading and assaulting women.”
Good for her for standing up 10 years ago and saying she would not support Donald Trump for President.
Subsequently, she changed her mind and supported him in more recent elections. My question is, “What changed or what did you see that now made him worthy of the office — did he change or did you change in an effort to pursue your own political ambitions?”
