Vote Pappas and secure our future
Chris Pappas is a pragmatic Democrat who will serve us well as Senator. His glib, richly financed opponent now returns to New Hampshire, claiming independence but running as a Republican, a party commanded by the supremely autocratic, corrupt and incompetent President abetted by a team of Congressional bootlickers and weaklings. Even if Sununu would actually aspire to independence, the nature of politics is such that he must cozy up to Trump and his team, inevitably pushing him out toward the far-right edge of awfulness. (Kelly Ayotte is in a similar situation with the Free State “Republican” legislators.)
A mountain of work is required just to clean up the messes Trump and his team have already made, not to mention dealing with our many serious problems they have ignored or made worse. There is good reason to believe Sununu, as a loyal Republican, would stand in the way of that. It’s high time to drain Trump’s Great Dismal Swamp and start building back better.
Vote Chris Pappas, and seriously consider voting straight-ticket Democrat next month. If you’re thinking of not voting at all, please think again since otherwise you will be letting other people decide your future.
