MeredithRec departments hosts craft fair

The Meredith Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the annual craft fair on Nov. 18. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Both local and non-local craftsmen who make homemade/handmade crafts will be selling their work, giving them a platform to be recognized. For the public, these crafts make wonderful gifts for the holiday season. Among the artists are woodworkers, painters, knitters, jewelers, bakers, crafters, photographers and musicians. The recreation department’s after-school program makes a big difference; selling baked goods, raising money for trips and special events, and making themselves a part of the community. There will also include more choices to their baked goods sale, such as the option of soup or chili. Raffle tables will be set up and offering many prizes for you to win. To participate as a vendor, visit meredithnh.org or call 279-8197.
