Ex-AG Mike Delaney takes job at new AG Joe Foster’s old law firm

In a sense, Joe Foster and Mike Delaney just traded places.

Foster, a former state senator and longtime bankruptcy lawyer at the firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, was sworn in yesterday as New Hampshire’s attorney general.

He replaced Delaney, who’s taken a new job at — you guessed it — the McLane Law Firm. The firm announced today that Delaney will be a director in its litigation practice group.

Foster has said he’ll recuse himself for a while from any cases involving lawyers from the McLane firm, so the attorneys general won’t cross paths in court anytime soon.
