Area athletes earn spots on Twin State field hockey and lacrosse all-star teams

Several area players will be representing the Granite State in Twin State All-Star games this upcoming weekend. Twin State games pit the top seniors from New Hampshire against the top seniors from Vermont in an all-star game for charity.

The Twin State Field Hockey Classic will be played on Friday at 6 p.m. at Hanover High School. Bow’s Alex Larrabee and John Stark’s Aubrey Fischer will represent New Hampshire.

On Saturday, the third annual New Hampshire Field Hockey Coaches Association East vs. West Senior Charity Game will be played at 11 a.m. at Souhegan High School. Proceeds will benefit Friends Fighting Cancer of the Dartmouth Cancer Center. Concord’s Emma Beaujouan will play on Team East, while John Stark’s Reagan Fischer and Merrimack Valley’s Amanda Parrotto will play for Team West.

The Hanover Lions Byrne Cup Twin State All-Star Lacrosse Games will be played on Saturday at Hanover High School. The girls’ game will be played at 12:30 p.m., while the boys’ face off at 3 p.m. Fresh off of a dominating season in Division III, Bow attack Alex Larrabee, goalie Elena Roy and head coach Chris Raabe will all represent New Hampshire in the girls’ game. Bishop Brady’s Tucker Townsend (faceoffs), Coe-Brown’s Jack Whitcher (defense) and Hopkinton’s Steven Reddy (defense) will suit up for the boys.
