Concord Drop off holiday card donations

Laura Landerman-Garber created the Holiday Card Challenge this year to send personal notes to members of the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt for the holidays. The initiative, which included the Concord High School SOCK (Save Our Cold Kids) Club, collected almost 16,000 cards and the goal is to make it bigger and better next year. Through the end of January, a collection box will be at Sal’s Pizza on Storrs Street where any unused holiday cards can be donated toward next year’s challenge.
