Highlights: The Falcons scored six runs in the third inning to secure the victory, and outhit the Pride, 9-1. MV had five errors, leading to eight unearned Bow runs.

Highlights: The Bears took the lead with three runs in the third inning, thanks to RBI from Adam Ludwikowski and Colby, and Shaft earned the win on the mound in the seventh inning after a strong start from Flanagan. Coe-Brown tallied 11 hits as a team.

Key players: John Stark – Anthony Paolicelli (win, 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 12 K; RBI double), Chris Dustin (2-for-2, double), Hayden Nunley (RBI double), Chase Philibotte (1 IP, 0 H, 1 K, save)

Highlights: The General rode strong pitching again to move to 3-0 on the season with Paolicelli going five strong innings for his second win. He also got the scoring started in the first with a booming double to left center. The Generals bullpen made the game interesting in the seventh, walking three hitters and hitting a batter before Philibotte came on in relief to get a strikeout and then a game-ending double play turned by shortstop Hunter Keim.

Belmont 4, White Mountains 3

Key players: Belmont – Anakin Underhill (7 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 0 ER, 9 K, 1 BB), Jaxson Embree (3-for-3, HR, double, run, RBI; caught 2 runners stealing), Liam Waldron (1-for-1, HR, walk, run, RBI), Wyatt Divers (1-for-4, double, RBI)

Highlights: Liam Waldron hit his first career home run to put Belmont on the board after trailing 2-0. Belmont had its back against the wall when an error caused White Mountains to go up 3-1 in the seventh, but Embree’s homer made it 3-2. After a strikeout, Eddie Rochenski drew a walk. Owen Waldron followed with a line drive single. Divers hit a double, scoring Rochenski to tie the game. Liam Waldron was hit by a pitch and Underhill hit a dribbler, scoring Owen Waldron for the game-wining run. In the bottom half of the seventh, Underhill induced a pop out to the catcher. The next batter reached on a bunt by beating the throw. The final batter of the game bunted and popped the ball up to Underhill. He caught it, threw to first where the runner took off, and the double play ended the game.

Coach’s quote: “This type of game is a character builder. Against a good team and one of the best pitchers in the division,we kept grinding. Highlights: Winnisquam’s defense was perfect and error-free, and Gosselin’s long two-run double in the sixth pushed the lead to 7-1.

Highlights: Taylor was just a single to shallow center away from a perfect game, dominating Memorial-Central with a 10-strikeout performance in just five innings. Seven of the Tide’s nine starters had multiple hits and Bolduc highlighted a five-run fourth inning with a home run to straightaway center.

Highlights: Smith tied the game, 1-1, in the first inning with a home run and the Pride opened up the game with six runs in the third, led by Allberg’s home run. Lacasse controlled the circle.

Highlights: John Stark took an early 1-0 lead in the first on a passed ball and Lebanon also scored on a passed ball to tie the game, 1-1.  The Generals extended their lead to 10-1 before Lebanon scored again. Linstadledd off the bottom of the sixth with a solo home, and her teammates tacked on two more runs to end the game via the 10-run rule.
