Jackson T. Duffy, 16, received Scouting’s highest rank of Eagle Scout at his Eagle Court of Honor on March 12th, 2023. Only 4 percent of Scouting’s national membership attains the rank of Eagle.

To achieve his Eagle rank, Jackson had to earn 21 merit badges, serve as a leader in his troop in various roles, and complete a major community service project.

For his Eagle Scout Service Project, Jackson planned, organized and completed the baseball field renovation behind Broken Ground School in Concord. This project included updating the field layout, adding stone dust, installing new bases, building a chalk scoreboard and adding a storage box.

Jackson has been a member of Boy Scouts Troop 88, chartered by St. Paul’s Church in Concord, for over 10 years. He also achieved additional honors including membership into the Order of the Arrow and completed National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT). He has been on staff at NYLT since 2022.

Jackson is a junior at Concord High School and is an active member of CHS’s Concert Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, Tri-M, nordic team and baseball team. He is planning on attending college after graduation.

He is the son of Stacy and Jason Duffy.
