Pound-for-Pound: Bow wrestling fights way to No. 6

1. KEARSARGE GIRLS’ NORDIC (4)  won the two-part NH Coaches Series against every school in the state, public and private.

2. JOHN STARK-HOPKINTON HOCKEY (1)  improved to 14-0-0 with Saturday’s wild 6-5 win against Moultonbourough-Inter-Lakes.

3. PEMBROKE BOYS’ HOOP (3)  won three games in the last five days to improve to 13-2 and stay atop the Division II standings.

4. KEARSARGE BOYS’ NORDIC (5)  finished third at the NH Coaches Series behind only D-II powers Kennett and Hanover.

5. CONCORD BOYS’ HOCKEY (6)  is in a three-way tie for second in D-I with Hanover and Pinkerton, and hosts Hanover Wednesday.

6. BOW WRESTLING (RV) made a statement before Saturday’s D-III championships by beating defending champ Plymouth, 54-22

7. CONCORD WRESTLING (2)  will look to shake off Wednesday’s 56-16 loss to Timberlane at Saturday’s D-I championships.

8. BISHOP BRADY GIRLS’ HOOP (8)  is 12-3 and scored 71.2 points per game during its current six-game winning streak.

9. BELMONT-GILFORD HOCKEY (10)  is 11-5 and third in D-III after winning its last three games by a combined score of 22-2.

10. CONCORD GIRLS’ HOCKEY (7)  dropped to 12-2 after Saturday’s 3-1 loss against Hanover, but is still second in the standings.
