Donate to ‘store’

■Karma Korner welcomes donations year-round for the in-school store at Franklin High. Items needed are lightly used clothing/outerwear/boots, toiletries (deodorant, shampoo, etc.), new underwear/socks for males and females (sport bras SML are best), laundry pods (unscented) for the in-school laundry (machines donated by Sears Roebuck). Items can be dropped off at the high school main office during regular hours.

■The Twin Rivers Intergenerational Program (TRIP Senior Center) offers three frozen meals weekly that can be picked up Mondays and Thursdays. Call 934-4151 for specifics about pick-up times.

■Twin Rivers Interfaith Food Pantry is in need of plastic bags and egg cartons. “Feed the Need!” provides supplemental weekend food bags to children in the Franklin schools. Call the Food Pantry, located at 2 Central St. (across from Benson Auto), if you would like to donate. Contact the pantry at 934-2662 or info.trifp@gmail.com to arrange for drop off. Monetary donations are always welcome.

■The Franklin Public Library will be open for curbside pick-up only after the holidays: Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For now, there are no public computers. A virtual story hour is presented weekly. Please call 934-2911 for details or to reserve a book for pickup.

■Service Link can offer phone appointments for those wanting information on Medicare open enrollment. Call 228-6625 ext. 1207 to set an appointment with Wayne Blanchard.

■The Recreation Center has several programs for children and youths. Visit the Parks & Rec webpage at franklinnh.org for a full listing of what is available or call 934-2118.

■The Twin Rivers Interfaith Food Pantry is looking for volunteers at various times throughout the week. Contact Alec Cahn at 934-2662 or email info.trifp@gmail.com.

■The Franklin Animal Shelter will remain open by appointment only until further notice. Visit franklinanimalshelter.com for information about upcoming events and to support the shelter.
