Letter: Three local candidates who will serve you well

In these times of widespread anger and dissension nationally and locally concerning a variety of important issues, it’s especially crucial to vote on the first Tuesday of November. At the local level, three excellent candidates are running for office in the N.H. House of Representatives dedicated to serving residents of Loudon and Canterbury.

Merrimack County District 9 is fortunate to have incumbent member Howard Moffett and former representative George Saunderson on the ballot. Additionally, Boscawen’s Lorrie Carey of District 26 will astutely serve Loudon and Canterbury as well as other towns in her district if elected.

We have long known these candidates and the values they hold dear. They will study the issues and respectfully make decisions with diligence, empathy and common sense. Their positive energy will be a welcome force of reason and balance.

We’re certain that Howard, George and Lorrie will best represent the interests of us all, and we urge others to join us in voting for the three on Nov. 6.
