Key players: Concord – Colby Nyhan (6-for-13, 58 passing yards, TD, 3 INT, 58 yards on 15 carries), Conner Hughes (38 yards and a TD on 4 receptions), Travis Dunbar (56 yards on 11 carries), Jackson Borkush (47 yards on 12 carries)

Highlights: Hughes caught a touchdown pass on Concord’s opening drive, but Windham tied the game, 7-7, before halftime and the Jaguars scored a pair of touchdowns off of three Crimson Tide interceptions in the second half to secure a win on Saturday. Concord’s season is at an end, while Windham advances to the Division I playoffs thanks to the victory.

Bow 17, Laconia 14, OT

Key players: Bow – Miles Miller (2 TD runs), Jared Dolder (31 yard FG, 2 PAT)

Highlights:  Miller scored on a 25-yard run in the first quarter and a 30-yard run in the second, and Dolder booted a field goal in overtime to lift the Falcons into the playoffs in a must-win game at home. Bow is likely the No. 6 seed for the Division II playoffs and will play at No. 3 Souhegan in this weekend’s quarterfinal.

Key players: HDH – Mason Nichols (71 yards and 2 TD on 16 carries, 3o yards on 2 receptions), Robert King (61 yards and a TD on 8 carries, 55 yards and a TD on 4 receptions; sack), Roman Finlayson (99 yards and a TD on 8 carries), Noah Carter (7-for-10, 85 passing yards, TD, INT, 19 yards on 4 carries, 2-point conversion), Thaddeus Maughan (13 tackles)

Highlights: The Redhawks closed their season with a victory on the road over the Blue Knights.

St. Thomas 42, Gilford-Belmont 20

Key players: Gilford-Belmont – Logan Grant (3 TD catches), Anakin Underhill (3 TD passes), Hutch Haskins (strong play on offense and defense), Gavin Clark (lineman), Neal Downs (lineman)

Highlights: The Eagles committed six turnovers, five of them in the first half as the Saints took a commanding 35-8 lead at halftime. Gilford-Belmont closed the gap to 35-20, but couldn’t erase the deficit in a must-win game at home. The Eagles’ season comes to an end, while St. Thomas will have the No. 4 seed for the D-II playoffs.

Bishop Brady 3, Franklin 0

Key players: Bishop Brady – Seamus McIntyre (22 yard FG)  

Highlights: After three scoreless quarters, McIntyre booted a field goal in the fourth to lift the Giants to a Kaplan Kup victory and the final spot in the Division IV playoffs. Brady will face No. 1 Newport in Saturday’s semifinal. Franklin ends the season with the program’s most victories since the Tornadoes went 5-2 in 2018.

Somersworth 47, Winnisquam 16

Highlights: The Bears dropped their final game of the season against the defending D-IV champion Hilltoppers.

Records: Somersworth 5-1; Winnisquam 1-6

D-III Volleyball

No. 6 Concord Christian 3, No. 3 Mascenic 1

Highlights:  After splitting the regular season series with the Vikings, the Kingsmen pulled off the minor upset in the Division III quarterfinals on the road on Saturday. Concord Christian will face No. 2 Inter-Lakes (16-1) in Thursday’s semifinal at Pinkerton Academy.

Records: Concord Christian 14-5; Mascenic 15-3

No. 4 Portsmouth Christian 3, No. 5 Belmont 0

Highlights:  The Raiders’ season came to an end in Saturday’s quarterfinal match on the road against the Eagles.
