Midnight Merriment returns to downtown Friday

Making a list and checking it twice? It is that time of year again. Midnight Merriment is returning to downtown Concord on Friday, Dec. 1 from 4 p.m. until, you guessed it, midnight. Shop until you drop while enjoying the lights and sounds of the holidays and supporting local businesses. There will be s’mores, cocoa, music, and more.

The schedule follows below:

ENTERTAINMENT

Storytime with Santa at Gibson’s Bookstore, 4:15 p.m. – 5 p.m..

Holiday music piped into the downtown, 5 p.m. – Midnight.

Concord Chorale strolling caroling, 5:30 p.m.  – 8 p.m.

Girl Scouts caroling at Capital Plaza (next to Teatotaller), 6 p.m.-7:45 p.m.

Santa photos at Capitol Center for the Arts, 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m.

Holiday Dance Party with DJ Nazzy, 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. Moved to the Capitol Center for the Arts due to inclement weather
