The Friends Program, and the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) New Hampshire have partnered with the D’Angelo $10,000 Neighborhood Giveaway Program. These programs hope to use the funds for emergency housing programs and mental health services for Concord.

Bohanan Farm in Contoocook has been named the oldest tree farm in Merrimack County by the New Hampshire Tree Farm Program. In contrast, in 1955 Bohanan Farm was the first certified tree farm in Merrimack County. Since 1907, three generations of Bohanan’s have ensured that the farm has been used for sustainable wood products, promoting wildlife diversity, ensuring clean water, and allowing recreational use of the land.

The Bank of New Hampshire donated $5,000 to the Organization for Refugee and Immigrant Success for their new Fresh Start Food Cart. In order to help refugees and immigrants in New Hampshire get access to local, affordable, fresh produce. As well as another $5,000 donation to the Harbor Care Expand Food Provision to help at-risk families.

Granite VNA has received a $10,000 donation from Bangor Savings Bank after an initiative to award nonprofit groups in Maine and New Hampshire. Other New Hampshire nonprofits included was the Big Brothers and Sisters Group, the Hospice Help Foundation, and Little Angels Service Dogs.
