Letter: Vote Carson and Minton for state rep

Published: 10/28/2020 12:01:32 AM

We are writing today in enthusiastic support of two candidates for state representative, Clyde Carson (District 7, Warner and Webster) and Faith Minton (District 25, Warner, Webster, Andover, Danbury, Salisbury), both very active members of our Warner community.

Clyde Carson has been our state representative for four terms and also serves as chair of our select board in Warner. We have seen how responsive he is to concerns and issues here, working to have all sides heard, and to expand and improve community services to all. Clyde led in the town of Warner’s transition to solar, providing clean renewable energy to power all of the town buildings and properties. He takes this hometown common sense and compassion to the State House giving voice to his constituents.

Faith Minton has demonstrated an incredible commitment to our community over the past 40 years. Faith has always worked tirelessly to have everyone’s voice heard and represented, as a public school teacher, a Kearsarge Regional School Board member, a small-business owner, and a leader in numerous community organizations and volunteer associations.

It is hard to imagine our town functioning without the conscientious and thoughtful work of both Clyde and Faith. They always show up, always listen, and are always ready to do the hard work of bringing people together in support of our families, our communities, and our state.

We wholeheartedly support Clyde Carson and Faith Minton as our state representatives, and encourage all to vote for them absentee or on Nov. 3.
