A city-wide parking ban will begin Tuesday night in the city of Concord to allow the city time to clear off the streets ahead of Wednesday’s storm.

City officials ordered all residents to refrain from parking on any street beginning Tuesday night from midnight to 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

Free parking is available in the city garages starting at 7 p.m. Thursday through 8 a.m. Friday morning, city officials said.

Cars will be towed and ticketed if parks on city streets overnight.
