Legion has new look as event space

Located in the small, quaint village of Contoocook, in Hopkinton, the ER Montgomery Event Center was built in 1978 as an addition to the American Legion Post 81. The primary purpose of the “hall” was to provide a venue for Legion members to host social gatherings.
In 2019, the facility began renovations to enable Legion members to offer the event center to the entire community to provide a safe, modern, beautiful gathering space. Today, anyone may rent the event center for weddings, family gatherings, school events, community fundraisers or other events.
