Advocates gathered at the State House on Saturday for the 4th annual New Hampshire Second Amendment Rally hosted by the Women’s Defense League of N.H. to hear speakers concerned about gun rights here in the state and around the country. The rally came four days after the N.H. House of Representatives voted down gun control legislation brought up by Democratic leader Steve Shurtleff of Concord that would have banned most people under 21 from buying any type of firearm and banned bump stocks.
Linda Olsen from the Women’s Defense League led a group of speakers saying that the Second Amendment needs to be protected and to promote women’s opportunities to learn practical self-defense skills.
