The Mayhew Community in Bristol announces that following a career of more than thirty years serving the boys, participants, and families of Mayhew – the last twenty as Executive Director – Jim Nute announces that he will be stepping down on Dec. 31 to spend more time helping and being with family. In his time as Executive Director, Mayhew has earned both statewide and national recognition as a leading youth-serving organization. Since 1969, Mayhew has been dedicated to helping deserving New Hampshire boys strive toward futures they’re proud of, with focus on family and community and achievement.

Millennium Agency announces that their CEO and Strategist, Linda Fanaras, will be a keynote speaker at the 2023 MAILCOM Fall Conference and Exhibition. The event takes place at Resorts Atlantic City in New Jersey, and Linda will be the keynote speaker on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Unlocking Possibilities is a Fall Conference taking place on Sept. 26 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hotel Concord in Concord. Discussion will encompass how the built environment can be harnessed to meet critical community needs. From multimodal connectivity and childcare to workforce and housing, speakers will explore innovative approaches to tackling these crucial issues. Troy Kennett of Kennett Equipment Services in Belmont recently donated $500 to the Lakes Region Children’s Auction to launch a corporate challenge for other area businesspeople to match the KES donation.

Gary Dionne, ChFC, CASL, a financial advisor with Lamb, Petersen & Mann Advisory Group, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC in Laconia, NH has been named a recipient of the 2023 Five Star Wealth Manager award by Five Star Professional. The award goes to less than 7% of the wealth managers in the region based on research administered by Five Star Professional, a third-party research firm.

The Capital Region Food Program (CRFP) distributed over 321 cases of nonperishable food items to 17 area social service agencies, food pantries and churches as part of the program’s Year-Round Distribution Project (YRDP) on Tuesday, September 12th.

Concord Hospital announces that Dr. Veronica Triaca, associate medical director for urology, earned the distinction of InterStim™ Center of Excellence (COE) by Medtronic, the world’s largest medical device manufacturer. The COE is the highest honor bestowed to a physician from Medtronic. It recognizes physicians who demonstrate exemplary use of the system, as well as a commitment to patient care for individuals suffering from symptoms associated with overactive bladder, accidental bowel leakage and urinary incontinence.
